A few friends and I would volunteer on a luscious farm on the east coast of Oahu every Thursday.
Backbreaking work, but nothings more rewarding than seeing how your food is grown and being a part of that process. That alone made the hours toiling under the sun worth it.
I guess it wasn’t really volunteering since we’d receive payment in fresh squeezed orange juice and starfruit.
My point: We know how fulfilling it is to know where your food comes from. So, here's where your chips come from:
Our tallow comes from @locuspointcattle in PA and is rendered @johnbrownbutchery butchery in MD. We use @redmondsrealsalt, which is mined from an ancient seabed in Utah safe from modern pollutants.
